Why Norumbega Financial?

Q. Why choose NF?

A. I started Norumbega Financial in October 2001. Using my education in finance and all the resources available to me, I have investigated the best compliance providers, top mutual funds, annuities and insurance companies in the country. I've compared the costs and performance, and examined the pros and cons of various providers. I've spent, and continue to spend, many hours analyzing and researching, using independent data, to determine what firms offer great choices for my clients.

I regularly revisit these options using objective measures.

My family's assets are invested in the same instruments that I recommend to you.

The life insurance for my family is provided through the same companies that I use for your family.

The pictures of your kids and grandkids are hung next to the pictures of my family.

If that is the attitude you are looking for in an investment firm, you have found it at Norumbega Financial.

Q. I've had brokers before. They either talked over my head or never contacted me. How are you different?

A. Before I became a financial advisor my husband and I met, as clients, with investment professionals and we felt confused by the process.  I know how it feels to be on the other side of the desk. With my education in finance, a Master's degree and additional professional training I have the knowledge to help explain everything we do and why things are done. I'll explain how long the process may take, the pros and cons of various investment vehicles, the stock market and how everything fits into the strategy of your plan. Clients tell me they now feel empowered, informed and in charge of their financial lives. I can be amusing, so meetings will be migraine-free, even while you learn.

After you become a client we will have annual reviews so we can keep on track and help meet your goals. I'll call and sing to you on your birthday, or send a "singing" email. There will be email communication several times a year as market conditions change and my office is available to answer your questions.

I explain financial information in the Money with Marion segment on Fox 22,Tuesday's at 5:30, and have written a book that includes several chapters on retirement planning called Real Deal: Making Big Changes with Small Change.
